Katy Perry Will Become Mrs. Brand on 23 October

Pop star Katy Perry and comedian Russell Brand will wed in a Hindu ceremony at a luxury hotel in Jaipur, India next weekend (23Oct10), according to the latest U.S. report.

They will return to the country where they became engaged on New Year's Eve in 2009 to exchange vows in front of 85 family and friends at the Taj Rambagh Palace resort on 23 October (10).

Perry's pal Rihanna let slip earlier this year (10) the loved-up pair would marry in India, but the comments were swiftly dismissed by the I Kissed A Girl hitmaker.

However, the New York Post's gossip column Page Six has backed up Rihanna's claims and allege the wedding party will be treated to a tiger safari at the Aman-i-Khas, near the Ranthambore National Park in Rajasthan, for a three-day adventure before the nuptials take place.

Brand recently admitted the wedding would be taking place "soon", although he refused to name an exact date.

Kim Kardashian's big family doubt

Kim Kardashian is having second thoughts about having a "big family".

The 29-year-old single socialite has always dreamed of having several children but us having second thoughts after seeing how tough her sister Kourtney finds bringing up her 10-month-old son Mason.

She explained: "I've always wanted a big family. But seeing how much hard work brining up Mason is for Kourt has given me a reality check. I don't think I'll be rushing into that just yet!"

The brunette beauty also admitted she thinks Kourtney's partner Scott Disick has "really matured" since he sought help after he was seen smashing a up a bathroom mirror in a drunken rage while filming reality TV show 'Kourtney and Khloe take Miami'.

Kim added: "I think I'm the most tolerant of Scott in our family. Kourtney and Scott have been through some rough patches but Scott has really matured.

"Hopefully he's got proper help now, so it won't happen again."
