The girls are in the Big Apple following a stint in Washington DC, where they joined First Lady Michelle Obama on Wednesday to kick off the Read Across America campaign. First Lady Michelle Obama and celeb moms Jessica Alba and Padma Lakshmi spent time with elementary school students at a kickoff event for the National Education Association's Read Across America Day.

The event marked the launch of Read Across America Day, an initiative of the National Education Association. Nea’s Read Across America is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every com- munity to celebrate reading on March 2, the birthday of beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss.

It's already been a dramatic stay for the pair, after Jessica Alba witnessed a fire last night. Fortunately, though, she was recovered from the scare enough this morning to enjoy breakfast at the Clinton Street Baking Co. Their girls getaway is a particularly special one, as they're spending precious time together getting ready for the arrival of Honor's little brother or sister later this year.

Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World is an upcoming American action-adventure family film directed by Robert Rodriguez and the fourth film in the Spy Kids series. The film is the fourth in the series, following on from Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over.

It is to be released in 3D and is currently set to be released on August 19, 2011. Filming has already begun as of October 27, 2010.

The film is produced by Troublemaker Studios and distributed by Dimension Films, Miramax Films, and Walt Disney Pictures.

Recently, Jessica Alba and Honor had a lunch date with friends in LA. Jessica's back in CA after a quick trip to Paris, where she dressed up for a fashionable dinner and went shopping with friends. Since she returned home, Jessica Alba's been networking via Twitter and spending time with her family. She and Cash Warren took their dads to the UCLA basketball game against USC last night, and she tweeted a cute picture from their seats.

As the movie industry evolves, so to do the Razzies. In The Killer Inside Me movie, Jessica Alba played Joyce Lakeland, a prostitute. The film is set to be released in 2010.

Also in 2010, Jessica Alba starred in the romantic comedy Valentine's Day, alongside Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Biel, Emma Roberts, Ashton Kutcher, and Jennifer Garner. The film was released on February 12, 2010.

The Killer Inside Me is a 1952 novel by American writer Jim Thompson. In the introduction to the anthology Crime Novels: American Noir of the 1950s, it is described as "one of the most blistering and uncompromising crime novels ever written."

The novel is referenced in the Dead Milkmen song "Sri Lanka Sx Hotel," on their 1988 LP, Beelzebubba.

The song "The Killer Inside Me" by experimental hip-hop artist MC 900 Ft. Jesus is based on the novel.

Filmmaker Stanley Kubrick, who worked with Thompson on the script for the 1956 movie The Killing, praised the novel, stating that it was probably the most chilling and believable first-person story of a criminally warped mind he had ever encountered.

Hollywood actress Jessica Alba has vowed never to strip on screen. She says she can handle being sexy with clothes on but not without them.

The 28-year-old admits she's happy to take on raunchy roles and don revealing outfits in movies, but fans shouldn't ever expect her to bare all for the cameras, reports imdb.com.

"No, I'll never do a nude scene. I can act sexy and wear sexy clothes but I can't go naked. I think I was always very uncomfortable about the way my body developed, and I remember my grandmother would freak out and throw a towel over me if she saw me wearing just a bra and panties," she said.
